I have over a decade of experience working with individuals and families affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, marital and family discord. My therapeutic approaches consist of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive and Strength based therapy. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings.
I have been very fortunate to meet some fascinating individuals over the last twenty-two years that I have been in the behavioral health field. In helping others to envision the possible avenues they could pursue to alleviate their emotional and mental pain, I learned a great deal about the human capacity for resilience. I am thankful to have played a small part in helping people to regain their dignity and I am awed by the courage they demonstrated to do so.
In my role as a psychotherapist, I help individuals, couples and families, to sort through the layers of complications that can keep us all from feeling connected to ourselves and others. It only takes one good listener, who believes in the human capacity for emotional growth, to help people bridge the gap between where they are at, and where they want to be. Let’s see if we can work this out together.
Welcome-I'm glad you're here. I'm Anna Crockett, and I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate life's most challenging moments. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, working through past trauma, or simply in need of support, I'm here to walk alongside you.
I earned my bachelor's degree from Binghamton University and my Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, where I specialized in clinical practice. My background includes working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse, individuals experiencing homelessness, children, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I've served in various roles-from hotline support specialist to providing direct care in residential programs at nonprofit organizations.
In therapy, I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Empowerment Theory. My work is client-centered and collaborative-I believe in meeting you where you are and helping you move toward where you want to be.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools for healing and growth. I understand that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I'm committed to tailoring our work to support your unique needs and goals.
Let's take the first step together.
I know reaching out for support can take a lot of courage, and my goal is to make that step feel a little less intimidating. My name is Victoria Giandalia, and in my work, I strive to create a space where you can feel understood and truly heard, a place where you don’t have to have it all figured out.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from Adelphi University and have experience working with adolescents and adults across various settings, supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person I work with. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and strengths-based approaches to help clients build coping skills, manage stress, and connect more deeply with themselves and others.
I believe therapy is a partnership, one where we explore what’s been weighing on you, identify what’s getting in the way, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll begin to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your story. Whether you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, you’re in the right place.
